Why @[4:0] in Facebook comments changes to Mark Zuckerberg.

If you are a facebook user you might have come across this image while scrolling through your fb wall, which asks you to type @[4:0] in the comments to check whether you account is hacked by someone or is safe. You will be relieved to know that its just another prank from the pranksters on the internet. So if your "@[4:0]" code did not change to Mark Zuckerberg then no need to worry, it has nothing to do with hacking.

Why it shows Mark Zuckerberg -

Every user on facebook has a unique ID number and @[4:0] is a shorthand code for tagging someone by their unique ID. So when you type @[4:0] anywhere on facebook you are tagging the person with unique ID as 4 which is alloted to the founder Mark Zuckerberg. ID 5 has been alloted to Chris Hughes, co-founder of facebook. So @[ID Number:0] is another way you can tag your friends on facebook, provided you know their unique IDs. You can find your unique ID here - FindmyfbID

Now you might be wondering, to whom are the first 3 IDs alloted? The first 3 IDs are not assigned to anyone, they were used for initial testing purpose. If you type the code using 1, 2 or 3 then it shows up an error.

There is another message going viral on facebook similar to this one but in this they ask you to enter the last three digits of your mobile number in place of unique ID. It works on the same technique and this time it displays the name of the user with ID same as the last three digits of your mobile number.

Please don't get fooled by these kind of pranks and do some research before sharing them.
