Motorola launched Moto Z2 Force With Dual Cameras and ShatterShield Display

Motorola has launched Moto Z2 Force a shatterproof smartphone at an event yesterday. The new Moto Z2 force has an elegant design having just 6.1mm thickness profile. It also carries forward the legacy of Moto Z series’s Moto Mod accessories. The dual camera setup at rear is also one of the highlights of this smartphone.Moto-Z2-Force.png
The Motorola’s Moto Z2 Force sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) ShatterShield POLED display. Motorola claims that the ShatterShield display is guaranteed not to shatter or crack. The super-slim Moto Z2 Force having 6.1-mm thick unibody design, is reinforced with 7000 series aluminum. Under the hood, it is powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. There will be two variants- 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage. The storage can be further expended upto 2TB using MicroSD Card expansion.
Coming to the camera, it has dual camera setup at rear with both the sensor having 12-megapixel sensors. The one with a color sensor, whereas the other one is a monochrome sensor. Both sensors sport Sony IMX386 sensors with 1.25-micron pixels, and an f/2.0 aperture. The setup also bears PDAF, laser autofocus, and a CCT dual-LED flash. At front, it has a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide angle lens, and LED flash. The new Moto Z2 Force has only 2730mAh battery comes with a 15W TurboPower charger. interestingly, Motorola has also decided to ditch 3.5 mm headphone jack, instead there is USB Type-C and a 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter is included in the box.

The phone will be available in Fine Gold, Lunar Grey (for T-Mobile only), and Super Black color variants and will go on sale in the US by August 10 price starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 51,500). They also launched the new Moto 360 Camera Moto Mod can capture 4K 360-degree video alongside 3D audio, at launch event. The Moto 360 camera Mod is priced at $299 (roughly Rs. 19,300), and will be available globally by August 10.
