Plans for No Deal Brexit continue
Further to my previous post about planning for No Deal:

It turns out that Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) are going to be rolling out their new IT system designed to handle all those additional customs declarations from Europe:
The project had been started in 2013/14 but when the referendum result came out, they scaled it up so it could handle five times the customs declarations than the project had been planned for. And they stepped on it to get it finished in time.
It will be rolled out between August 2018 and January 2019, so they'll be able to test it in real time and do bug fixing before Brexit Day looms on March 29th 2019.
