Downvotes are now hidden

I was puzzled as I refreshed the "hot" tab to see that a post I'd upvoted for had dropped the number of votes. I then clicked on it again, and the number was back up.

On looking at the post in Steemd.com, I discovered that it had been downvoted - but there was no sign of the downvoter on the steemit post, either in the flag count, or in the dropdown.

Here is an example, it's @gavvet 's daily pick:

As you can see there are no flags.

However if you look at the steemd analysis of the page:

you see the following:

you can see there has been a downvote.

If you are wondering why the money on your post is going down, you need to head to steemd.com to find out why because steemit is now hiding downnvotes.

Looks like @question-answers's bot have only one pattern: downvote everything:

Fortunately, this bot operates very low Vesting shares with extremaly low Voting power (<40%): it's downvotes mean nothing.

Thanks for this nugget of information, @teatree - I'm still learning the ropes (and there's a lot to learn) but I'll take a look at my steemd account and see what's shaking over there.
