Security Done, Waiting in Departures Heading SteemFest²
Good morning all :)
Well, showered, fed, watered, got the bus from the hotel to the airport and straight thought departures, everything super straight forward this morning, no issues at all, i really do prefer having the space to have a place over night instead of compounding everything together into early morning travel, flight, ugh — dislike.
At least doing it this way means that I’ll still feel in the mood when we get there to dump bags and explore, get out into the city and grab some photos for nomad.pictures and some short little videos to later make into Cinemagraph or gifs, I’m kinda addicted to that and miss making them with my little ixus camera, maybe 2018 will bring new gifts.
As far as fest mode I’m really excited now. I’ve been watching all the people trickle in to the SteemFest² group on rocket.chat (steemit.chat) and everyone is already posting pictures (it looks warm) and are hanging out together, I’m most looking forward to connecting the username with the human face and body!
I’ve not really travelled for a while now, it’s been a long time since I’ve been ‘ontheground’ at a place, kinda missed doing all the trips when we were doing the audience development trips around europe, dropping in as a social media team was a cool thing and with the right budget a lot could be done — I’m excited to see the streaming setup they have here at SteemFest², i love the tech bits! :)
It’s super early here right now, we got a few hours to wait before we get our gate but I’d rather be early than late and remove the ‘shuffling’ in the que through security, i really dislike that, it was fast today and i never took my shoes off which saved the airport let me tell you.
Next up on the flight is sketching time, I’ve got a dedicated 3 hr window to mockup and sketch the ideas that have been floating around my head for the last six months about the 3 applications i want to develop, they might end up in the same app but with different websites and standalone services, not sure yet — glad to see the developer portal has been built, hoping to connect with a few developers in Lisbon.
