a proper frame of mind // passion and emotion vibes for feb, the daily stoic — strive for independence, self sufficient today!

I’m always trying to achieve that ‘proper frame of mind’ each day, stopping the white noise getting in and instead focusing on the right now, what’s achievable today before the light fades and we return to the dark, the day time is prime time for work and boy do I love to get things aligned!

It actually can be obsessive but if there is one thing that you should/could be obsessed over I think it’s the notion of wanting to build your own financial independence, but also mental independence from the barrage that is data and information — you don’t need to be aware of it all, in fact, most of the time it never effected you until you learned about it.

Your feeding the lizard side of your brain just because your not prepared to put in the work to actually invest in your own independence and talent, there is so much we can all do more on a daily basis — we just have to choose to do so, it’s as simple as that, it’s a switch, you just gotta flick it.

I’m always thinking of backups on the top of backups, nothing more fulfilling than knowing that you have things in ‘order’ — while a lot of things in my life are not there are some things that are that bring me great pleasure in knowing that the rest is ‘possible’ — that’s enough for me.

January was very much a clarity month, totally different for me than usual just sprint and hope for the best ones — something unlocked for me this month and I feel that all Januarys from now on will be different, instead of just this overwhelming new energy, it’s now founded in defining clarity, it’s super liberating.

Loving that this quarter is about ‘the discipline of perception’ and this month is digging deep into passions and emotions, next month is awareness and after that unbiased thought for april.. listen, I’m here for it, it’s kinda fascinating to see that mood connected to seasons — maybe my whole perception to the first quarter of any year has been off most of my life, it’s nice to recalibrate and have some structure to the chaos.
