Being someone who uses a a Scarlett Solo USB interface, I know how difficult it is to have only one input. As the name of the equipment infers, you can only perform a solo. Having this type of audio interface, you now have the ability to perform a quartet. :)
A critical info when choosing your audio interface is its plug-and-play capability with the Os you will use it for. That's one of the reason why I chose mine - it's plug-and-play ready with Mac OSX.
Another thing to consider when choosing and audio interface is its compatibility with the USB interface you will plug it into. Mine is not compatible with USB 3.0.
Nevertheless, nice hunt.
