THE BUZZ FACTOR // EP4 // bringing companies to the platform, Big Mac worth and token price!

Six days has passed already, wow are we kinda time travelling or what here? It always blows my mind when I check to see when I need to do a catchup video and we are already a week later, I’m glad to have the resources and abilities to be able to add to this conversation.

I think I’m going to be adding the buzz factor video posts each week to my newsletter as well, if you are interested in that, it’s outside of the steem blockchain network so we don’t touch the rewards pool and where votes don’t effect it ;)

Anyway, let’s look at the scores on the doors for this week! :)

Wow, really starting to see the numbers moving now! :) — 1450 quests have been completed now from 700 hunters! That’s incredible! Awesome even, just shows you that we are really starting to ramp up those hunter numbers.

We have 1284 connected social channels as well and right now that’s giving us the reach of 6 million potential viewers — of course you have to take into perspective the actual engagement amount of that but still, it’s awareness of a product or service that’s going out there across multiple channels and the makers can see how well their campaign is doing in the dashboard!

My goal personally between now and the end of the year is onboard makers through my referral code so get some of that residual good good happening and to also bring products that I want to shine a light on.

Originally I had it in my head that we should be bringing existing apps and services here but it appears that the team wants to help the early stage apps that have marketing budget and need rapid traction against other apps, after going back and forth I realise this is an area that is probably really underserved.


how many Big Macs bring the boys to the yard?

To assist us with the marketing side of things the team also pushed a cool stand alone product called the ‘Big Mac index’ — it’s an awesome little page that actually helps me promote the product because it’s super clear to people just want we are trying to do here by humanising the value of your social accounts in regards to engagement — crazy to see some of those big instagram accounts with how much they make from their content postings!

But if you think about it, it makes sense right, if your a celebrity with a massive following and you tweet, gram, tube a piece of content about a product that you use then all of a sudden you get interest (and hopefully sales) because the celeb spread the ‘word’ about it — it’s just your everyday influencer trade people! :)

the hunt price is up and down

People buying people selling, people buying a stack of HUNT to run a campaign, it’s actually genius if you think about it, a marketplace where people are trading HUNT for engagement — the best thing for us that got in early is that we understand the bigger picture of IDEAHUNT as well, if I was you I’d been getting in on this action (not financial advice)

if you are looking to deploy or build a product in 2020 and want to have a massive hunter team to help with launch, heck even with a kickstarter campaign - can you imagine if you combined the two how much quest impact that would have if you had hundreds of youtube videos going out about it? wow.
