nothing like the smell of fresh hard forks in the morning eh?

I’ve been here for a few hard forks and every time they have bought about an interesting explosion in communication, platform changes, different ways of looking at the platform and I expect this will be no different — excited to see what it brings about or enforces on us to adapt to that change.

HF20 and Resource Credits

The biggest change that I can see (apart from the ability to edit posts after seven days, yay, actually that might already be supported in esteem surfer and others) is resource credits — I think this is a major move forward for the freemium blockchain that it will give developers a muched resource (like how much does it cost to do X actions) and also the chain and scaling infrastructure itself — after all nothing is free in this world so your credits are going to be an important part of your engagement with the chain.

Dlive Migration window appalling

I’ve already shared my thoughts on the whole dlive thing and to not really create drama let’s just say that it’s quite obvious and clear how much they really thought about the community when they give you ONE DAY to engage with them to do a migration of your content, on a monday. Yeah, ok guys. Ugh, we need some kind of STEEM DAPP CODE OF CONDUCT already mocking up, anyone?

Vimm is worth our attention regardless

I’m not sure vimm is gonna be for me, apart from sounding like a kitchen product for killing bugs around my toilet I just feel it’s too raw for me to start using a platform that’s in such alpha — BUT — that’s just me, that’s not you if you want to get in early and are a streamer and want to potentially earn steem and get your rep up.

now is the time because not many people are streaming and because I can’t believe how much work they have already done in a few days — certainly one to watch and I wish them and the team the best — also, they need some females on the team, just saying!

200% Huntings up over 3 days and almost 5k daily active users (28k monthly, 16k weekly, 4.9k daily)

Yep it’s crazy but the steemhunt traffic to the website is really up, nearly 200% alone in the last three days, people are actively using the site and we nearly have a 5k daily active user total too! - great work guys, we have some work to do of course to really build on that topic and if your an ‘influencer’ with a large network then maybe you might want to start putting content out about the project.

I’m considering doing some drop in live streaming sessions for FAQ and just general headsup for where to get the unofficial course, judging (maybe a contest) a bunch of hunts for the week and maybe writing a few walkthrough articles on medium for it as well — literally drop into our discord and check out the contributions channel for the pinned message and you will get all the details — gonna be well worth looking into collecting those hunts tokens between now and the middle of next year!
