ok, so maybe you are talking about them, i just think we might be focusing far too much on the 16gb limit and the fact that we don't understand what a leap this is, i think now the benchmarks are coming out people are gonna be blown away at what this means for a whole industry of 3000/4000/500x series this and that, air blown fans and gigs and gigs of memory for our precious acceptance of bloated and cludged together operating systems.

Hehe. I happened to look at the apple store last night. I noticed these M1. I think the apple made a huge leap again before the competition. We are waiting for 8k in the new iphone😀13? 14? But my friend complained about the 2018 apple in 4k editing and color gradding. I would like some older apple for video editing...
i'm happy if i can edit 4k while mobile and it's super lightweight. it's certainly gonna be my next purchase.

I also have started looking around for a possible upgrade having used my laptop for 7 odd years.
I find the M1 chip quite impressive. I've been looking at a few videos on it, and the memory in chip architecture. Interesting stuff. I think we're in for some amazing macbooks in the near future.
yeah absolutely agree, i'm certainly picking up the air, that's perfect for what i need right being mobile. the system on a chip approach is very smart.
