Ghostbusters Offering it's Own AR Mobile Game
Recently, the game Ghostbusters World was demoed at Google's MWC booth with release date being very broad, "coming 2018".
Ghosts from other productions of the franchise including TV shows to comic books, according to a recent press release, will participate in this new entertainment creation.
Pokemon has a huge cult following which Ghostbusters doesn't have at the moment, but, it does seem to have similarities to Pokemon Go.
A South Korean publisher, Four thirty-three Inc., has several popular games including Monster Super League, Seven Guardians, and Blade for Kakoo.
It is unclear at this point whether or not the location -based community style that was employed by Pokemon Go and made it a cultural phenomenon, will be used.
The new game will be coming to iOS, as well, although it was introduced in conjunction with google. More announcements about the game will follow at the Game Developers Conference in the near future.
