I have some news for you....I have been in the MARTIAL ARTS for 45 years....And I know exactly where Nunchucks come from....They come from China....And they were not originally developed to be a weapon....The were invented as a tool to BEAT RICE in food preparation...But when the small villages were raided...and their weapons confiscated....All they had left to fight with were the Nunchucks and Tonfas which were both just tools used for prepping food. So they used what they had...And learned to use them well.
