BLUENOTE- Securing our future by combating global warming

There have been several theories of how human existence as we know it could come to an end. From cosmological disasters to natural population decline, climate change and even a major pandemic. Some of these factors could be totally out of our control but I'm of the opinion that we should do our possible best to make sure we don't get wiped off the surface of the earth anytime soon.

Global warming which leads to climate change is one of the factors which we have any iorta of control over. Global warming is generally defined as a long term rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system. The fact that the rate of global warming has garnered momentum since the commencement of the industrial age has done a lot to drive home the point that global warming is mainly as a result of human activities.

Some of the human activities which influence global warming include;
Industrial revolution
Mining
Deforestation

These activities have effects which include;
Droughts
Heavy rainfall with floods
Ocean acidification
And above all, species extinction due to shifting temperature regimes.

The buildings we live in are believed to cause over 30% of the world's carbon emissions which is due in large part to the fact that they make use of about 40% of the world's energy. These statistics actually brings to the fore, the size of the market for improving energy efficiency of buildings. In as much as, this project will take some extra effort to become a resounding success, there is no denying the fact that reducing energy consumption of buildings will also positively affect the finances of all the nation's of the world.

Introducing Bluenote
Bluenote is an energy efficiency protocol which is based on blockchain technology. The decentralized ecosystem will enable building operators from every corner of the world to share valuable information on how to expand less energy through distributed data intelligence.

The team behind this project understand the magnitude of the the task at hand as it surely won't be smooth sailing all the way. It is often difficult to obtain adequate data to effectively study a buildings energy consumption. Even when available, the data is often difficult to correlate. This is a major reason why the team came up with a proposed solution. They intend to pull the data streams from buildings and standardize it through a distributed blockchain solution called the Bluenote Protocol. Bluenote is an open access network that promotes simple data sharing and offers simple data services and building analysis with the goal of unlocking new energy efficiency strategy in buildings.

Bluenote operates a token based ecosystem. The token (BNOW) will be rewarded to buildings and devices that utilize the Bluenote protocol.

Conclusion
The understanding of the threat posed by global warming should make anyone realize that we as humans need to start taking action to ensure the situation does not get out of hand. The bluenote protocol offers us an easier route to combat this force which seemed beyond our control. I am of the opinion that the team behind this project should get support from well meaning government bodies.
