Villages in Bireuen Carry Out Sacrificial Animal Slaughtering.

The slaughter of sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah, in every village (gampong) in 17 sub-districts in Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, is estimated to be almost evenly distributed in all gampongs.

In a number of villages around Bireuen urban area, such as in Kota Juang District, all villages participate in slaughtering sacrificial animals on the first day of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah, Monday (17/6/2024).

The process of slaughtering sacrificial animals is generally in the meunasah complex or open field. The slaughter of sacrificial animals is almost evenly distributed in all villages with varying numbers, both cattle and goats.

Such as in Geulanggang Baro Village, Geulanggang Teungoh, Kemesjidan Geulanggang, Pulo Ara, Kommes Hamlet, Meunasah Capa and other villages in Juang Bireuen City. Likewise in Geudong Alue Village and various other villages in 17 sub-districts in Bireuen.

In Geulanggang Baro Village, Kota Juang District, this year ten cows and 16 goats, sheep and sheep were slaughtered.

The number of sacrificial animals in Gampong Geulanggang Baro was stated by the local village Tgk Imum, Tgk Fakhrurrazi accompanied by the Chair of the Dirman Committee, Monday (17/6/2024).

Tgk Fakhrurrazi said that the sacrificial animals were sourced from local communities coordinated by the committee. The slaughter of sacrificial animals involves dozens of people working since 09.30 WIB.

Dozens of residents of Geulanggang Baro Village, Kota Juang District participated in helping with the slaughter and distributing sacrificial meat to those who were entitled to it.

Sacrificial meat is distributed to village communities, especially underprivileged residents.

Apart from village communities, a number of social institutions also slaughter sacrificial animals which are distributed to poor families and various other recipients.

Meanwhile, the congregation at the Al Ikhlas Geulanggang Mosque this year slaughtered 16 cows and three or three goats.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Committee, Tgk M Nasir Ibrahim, accompanied by the mosque administrator, Mursyidin. According to him, the meat was distributed to 870 underprivileged families in the mosque, namely the villages of Geulanggang Gampong, Geulanggang Teungoh, Geulanggang Kulam, Geulanggang Baro and Cot Gapu.

Other information obtained was that almost all villages in Bireuen slaughtered sacrificial animals.The average amount is according to the ability and awareness of local residents in sacrificing.
