In her speech, the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, said that the main task of the Acting Regent of Bireuen was to make the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) a success.
"We and our staff really hope that the regional elections in Bireuen can run optimally and run as well as possible," he hoped.
Indeed, Bireuen is one of the areas that is considered to have potential and has quite large potential, conditions will be hot.
"But we see that until today it has not been seen and we all hope that by the day the conditions will not be hot," he said.
We hope that KIP Bireuen and Panwaslih Bireuen who will carry out the activities will be able to carry them out well.
"I invite everyone to support all activities leading to the 2024 Bireuen Regent and Deputy Regent election being successful and without the slightest disturbance," he said.
Chairman of KIP Bireuen, Saiful Hadi, SE., MM reminded that registration of Regent and Deputy Regent Candidates is through Political Party channels, namely from 27 June to 29 August 2024.
"Political parties who wish to apply for registration of candidate pairs can already prepare the necessary things as requirements for prospective candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen in 2024," he said.
The election for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen is only held once every five years, therefore he invited voters to come to the TPS on November 27 2024 to exercise their right to vote and not abstain.
"Hopefully in the upcoming 2024 simultaneous elections, all the people of Bireuen will realize the importance of taking an active role and not wasting their right to vote," he said.
Community participation is not only in the form of voting, but also in monitoring the election process so that it takes place in a transparent and accountable manner.
He continued, the community also has an important role in creating a conducive atmosphere that supports the implementation of peaceful and democratic elections.
The role of KIP and its staff, both at the sub-district and village levels, is to ensure that each stage of recovery is carried out well and according to plan.
The Bireuen Police Chief, through his staff, is expected to provide security assistance, as is the Bireuen Dandim.
"The Acting Regent through his staff reaches the villages, we hope for assistance with facilities because there is no assistance from the regional government or Muspida elements. "Then it will be difficult for this Pilkada to run safely, smoothly and orderly," he hoped.
Previously, the Secretary of KIP Bireuen, Saifuddin SH reported, the launch of the election for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen was aimed at informing the entire community and socializing that the simultaneous election of the Regent and Deputy Regent had begun.
Apart from that, it is part of KIP to provide information and education as well as outreach to the people of Bireuen in particular and the Indonesian people in general.
"If we carry out the Legislative Election (Pileg) and Presidential Election (Pilpres) successfully, then we are sure that the future Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will also be successfully carried out thanks to the support of all parties," he said.
