I would love to use a credit union as my bank, but credit unions in the UK are restricted by the strict banking regulations, which effectively prevents them from offering services like direct financial transfers to companies.
I get income (rent) paid in monthly to my credit union, but I can't then transfer any of that money directly to another company. It can only be paid into my bank account, and I have to then transfer it from there. It's not the credit union's fault - it's the banking industry that sets up this situation.
@natubat well the company I work with is international and is tied to a Credit Union for employees
That must be a very far-sighted company!
