Monochrome Monday a beautiful spring day
A beautiful Spring day - Monochrome Monday
I had another post prepared for Monochrome Monday hosted by @old-guy-photos but since it’s a beautiful Spring day I thought instead I would share a few shots near 42nd Street in NYC taken this morning
The first shot is taken on 2nd Ave looking down 41st Street ok to be correct 43rd Street is going up here but it’s looking down towards 1st Ave
I had the option of taking a snow day today but when I left home at 4:45 it wasn’t snowing and the forecast was for only 2 to 4 inches and ending at midday and no snow forecast in NYC
Well by the time I got to the train station at 4:50 the snow had started and was coming down steady but I thought well there is none in the city so let’s head in
Well as I came out of Grand Central I saw the forecast was not quite correct as you can see there is a little snow on the ground and it’s coming down steady but it still should stop soon so it’s not to bad
And a couple of more shots I thought in mono they look ok and are good for a Monochrome Monday post
These shots were all taken with my iPhone
The good thing is even though it’s snowing it’s not to cold and gave me some new phone shots for this post

I Haven’t been as ac give as I like to be but hopefully I will find the time to catch up as well moving forward
We all get there at times when life takes you away from steemit and it's OK to allow yourself a break and do other things. We sometimes forget that.
I am here much more than most as I am addicted and just love being here, but I also think since I live alone and not are in a relationship I have much alone time that I rather fill with things that I love. Make sence?

Those are great shots but it is horrible news!!! YUCK! We got to move south my man!
not bad for snaps on my phone luckily it’s stopped here but I have heard it’s over 6 inches and still coming down at home
Moving South is an option when I retire but a big factor would be that’s a long way from the family and grandkids so it is not likely at this stage
How jealous am I?
Snow in April is always a joy. But, it is so very pretty and it will go away soon with those warm temperatures. Nice shots of the city with the blanket of snow. The impending daylight adds a touch more pretty.

Tip!As its falling it can look so pretty not so much in the city but in rural scenes for sure, but frankly I have had enough of Winter its time for it to move on and let Spring out to play with us
