Champignon Season

For about two weeks I've been trying to take a picture of the champignons glade, but all the attempts failed and every time the result is sent to the basket. The elastic balls of young mushrooms look like white spots against the grass. Mature mushrooms also look like spots, but already sprinkled with earth.

So this is the first mushroom I've seen that looks like a mushroom. Found on the embankment of the Krukov Canal. Grew up here, next door, on the lawn. Why an unknown to me mushroom picker decided to throw away such a gorgeous specimen remains a mystery.
