One of the powerful things about decentralization is that advancements can come from anywhere. Since a platform like Steem is a cooperative, one improvement is shared by the entire ecosystem. Overall progress comes from the fact there are regular updates to dozens of different applications. This helps to push the entire platform forward.

Development takes time. This means some of the newer projects are just starting to add to their sites in a way that provides functionality.

One of the main reasons why people stay on a website is they are getting information they need. When I look at the road map of SteemLeo, I am reminded of Marketwatch and SeekingAlpha. As a site that is dedicated to investing, it is imperative that people have the tools to conduct their research.

Yesterday, there was an update to the site there a couple of feeds were added which I feel are very important. Already, the site looks more like a typical financial site. Of course, the benefit is the articles and rewards are decentralized.

To start, there is a price stream across the top that listing a number of cryptocurrencies. This can be paused simply by putting one's cursor on it.

The second major addition was a price table on the left hand side that was added. This allows one to get an overview of the markets, look up cryptocurrency, or choose individual stocks.

These are major additions because investors love data. The more information that can be provided to them, the longer they are apt to remain on a site.

I feel one of the major advantages the tribes have is the ability to replicate a centralized site. In this instance, Marketwatch, SeekingAlpha, and Yahoo Finance provide the ideal road map. Replicating a lot of the features those sites offer while providing the opportunity to for anyone to add content while being rewarded is the major difference. Instead of a major corporation receiving all the proceeds, the token holding community (along with the content creators) benefit.

A tribe like SteemLeo has the ability to attract some attention. The investing community is rather large and very passionate. Money is an emotional topic. With all the changes taking place due to cryptocurrency, it could well become an informational center for those seeking to learn and stay up on crypto. After all, the people who are involved with Steem have first hand knowledge of what this is all about.

Already the site has a more "professional" feel to it. Anyone who spends a fair bit of time on investing sites or channels known the streaming of recent prices is the norm. It is almost as if a site is not real in the world of finance without it.

Personally, I feel the team behind SteemLeo is onto something. They are following a smart path which I think can have an impact in the genre being targeted. Each day I try to send out a couple articles to people I know who are involved in the markets to put the name in front of them. The information provided by some of the authors on here is just as valid as those put out by those on Marketwatch and SeekingAlpha.

It is exciting to see all these different projects move forward one step at a time.

It's definitely a more professional looking site, I didn't realize how great it would look until it was done...that was a great suggestion on your part to suggest the ticker.

HI - everything looks very cool, good changes - I think this is the right direction -
Why has this been taking so long? this is an ordinary parser as I understand it -
