Steem As A Profession
I am so excited to see the expansion on Steem. We are now witnessing a lot of development that is rolling out more options for people. Because of this, the ability to be rewarded keeps growing.
This is going to translate into the ability for people to earn a living. At the present moment, with the price of crypto versus fiat, few are in this category. The next bull run, however, will see this change. All boats are lifted during the bull.
What happens if not only STEEM runs up, but a few of the SE tokens explode? Along the same lines, what is Splinterlands had, instead of 5,000 users, 100K? What does that do for those with the Alpha packs?

Oddly enough, I think we’re closer than ever to making the idea of being a full time “employee” of the Steem blockchain a reality. In the bull market, it was easier to say that in terms of $ because each upvote was worth so much. But that was really the only way to earn — curating or authoring for STEEM rewards.
Now there are hundreds of token rewards pools with the tribes and coming SMTs. There are also apps like Splinterlands and Actifit with different ways to earn. This place looks a lot different today than it did 2 years ago at this same time. The price going up will cause an exponential shock to the system as new users flood in and existing users amplify their past rewards.

I agree with you completely. The fact there are so many different options is only growing the number of tokens they pull in. @dalz had a great post about what is taking place on here and how the early adopters benefit.

I think it’s still pretty far off but the building blocks are there and with the latest batch of releases I can see it happening for people in less developed markets for sure!
Earn for
posting
Curating
Holding steem power
Replicating that with tokens
Then having commerce now with like leo shop which we should have had long ago with the flop that was dStors
Then ontop of that developer tools making it easier for dApps to get on steem they will also need steem to build their communities
Then finally ad revenue from steemit and various tribe sites this place is looking a lot different but still going to be a while
I don’t think we even need a lot of users to be game changing and the rest would follow I mean if we look at the 8.16 peak as a bench mark and the 250k users at the time it can only multiply as more users come in competing for rewards and wanting steem
Lol can steem be $100 so I can be a full time steemian too
i just need one good pump from one of my 'many' s**t coins to take off LOL
i would much rather sit at home and write my code than work for some other prick 60 hrs a week
