Technological Utopia Versus Dystopia
Many have written, theorized, and discussed these ideas. Will technology eventually create a utopia for humanity?
It is hard to know how things will unfold. One point I want to make is the fact that we have input into what path this will take.
Mega-corporations are getting more powerful tools. The interesting fact is that individuals are also being handed more tools to combat this.
In an effort to step back, I feel it important to realize that what we are involved in is helping to choose a path. Decentralization is not something most people pay attention to. However, the ones that are involved in it now, and are generating the tools for tomorrow, are helping to bring about a non-dystopian outcome.

too many broken people with skills want the dystopia without realising it would literally be the end of the tools they love so much ;)
