Entering the Dhaka University campus after a long absence is like returning to a beloved retreat in the heart of a bustling city. Amidst the chaos of urban life, this campus has always been a sanctuary, a place where I can escape the hustle and bustle and immerse myself in the soothing embrace of nature.As I stepped into familiar grounds, I was greeted by a symphony of bird songs and the vibrant colors of blooming flowers. The summer day blessed the campus with an abundance of floral beauty, transforming it into a haven of serenity.Finding comfort under the spreading bougainvillea branches near the art building, memories of my student days came flooding back.

This place was my favorite hangout during university, and sitting again filled me with feelings of nostalgia and warmth.
The campus was very quiet, devoid of the usual hustle and bustle of student life. Yet in this silence I found a sense of calm that was comforting and rejuvenating. The soft pink hue of the sun-kissed bougainvillea petals projects a subtle light into the surroundings, creating a surreal and ethereal atmosphere.
Among the sea of flowers dotting the campus, a few varieties caught my eye with their striking beauty. Yellow hennas, helianthus and hollyhocks stood out among others, their vibrant colors contrasting against the lush green background. Each flower shines in the sunlight, conveying a sense of vitality and grace.

Yellow henna, with its graceful, curved stems and vibrant flowers, adds a touch of elegance to any landscape. Its attractive yellow flowers, often splashed with orange or red, stand out against the green foliage, creating a stunning and attention-grabbing visual spectacle.Helianthus or sunflowers symbolize happiness and vitality, and it's easy to see why. Their small, cheerful flowers face the sun, radiating warmth and joy wherever they grow. With their bright yellow petals and dark centers, sunflowers exude an optimism and positivity that's impossible to ignore.

Hollyhocks are known for their tall, graceful stems and delicate bell-shaped flowers that are clustered along the length of the stem. Their velvety petals and slender stems sway gently in the breeze, evoking feelings of nostalgia and romance.As I stopped to admire the intricate details of each flower, I was delighted to find an abundance of wildlife around. Squirrels frolicked among the leaves, while numerous birds flitted around, their colorful plumage adding to the mesmerizing scene.

In that moment, surrounded by the wonders of nature, I felt a deep sense of gratitude and connection. Being close to the land, immersed in its beauty and serenity, filled me with a deep sense of peace and contentment.

When I said goodbye to campus, I took with me the memory of a day spent in harmony with the natural world, a memory that will remain in my heart for years to come.
