New Year's stuff
This last week has been really busy for me, with Xmas family stuff followed by New Years Eve social things.
I pretty much never do anything or go anywhere, so the last 10 or so days have been very tiring for me.
On Saturday I went with my friends to the Wu Year's Eve show. Big Wu shows have been a tradition with my friends from up north. We have been attending the Big Wu Family Reunions and Wu Years Eve shows for around 15 years.
My friends got me a ticket, and I met them on a really cold night.
It was -8 degrees Fahrenheit with a windchill of -24.
The show was downtown Minneapolis, and I avoid downtown if I can.
It was a cool show though, and I got to hang out with my friends that I see twice a never.

The next night I went to a friend's NYE house party. Going out 2 nights in a row is truly unprecedented for me, and it was actually 3 out 4 nights as i played a show on Thursday night.
After all of that, I pretty much want to sleep through the first part of 2018, but I can't do that, as I have some new year goals...
1 - Get my driver's license back.
A ticket for expired tabs in 2010 snowballed into a suspended license and then a ticket for driving with a suspended license.
Truly stupid shit, but the state of Minnesota hates poor people. I've been without a driver's license for almost 8 years because of expired tabs.
2 - Get a passport.
I need to get to Serbia.
3 - Find a place to live that isn't surrounded by barking dogs.
I truly hate the sound of barking dogs.
I also really want rooftop access so I can feed the crows and look at the moon.
So that's my New Year's list...
Blessings to you Steemit, and may 2018 be the magic number for us.
Sounds like you had a pretty eventful Holiday! I was so low key this holiday season. Sending positive vibes for you to create all that you want for 2018. I upvoted. :)

It's good when you get out and do stuff. Prevents isolation, even in the cold.
It was all done under protest, but I'm glad I did it.
Amazin post....great
What's in Serbia? o.o
Looks like you had a good time over the holidays nevertheless. Having lost your drivers license like that is really too bad... When I lived in the States, I always thought, its a great place. As long as you have a lot of money :-/
Don't like barking dogs either... hate any kind of noise. Except that of my bike, maybe.. but compared to a Harley, she's a whispering beauty.
Serbia? What makes you want to go there? I'll be there in June this summer for an artists colony. To bad, you are not a painter or else I could recommend you... Anyways, if we are in the same area at the same time, we should meet! I know some wonderful people down there and I am so looking forward to go. Too bad, it will be by car, as I'll have to take more supplies than I can pack on the bike..
