What color is it?

We have two cherry trees in our garden and we do not know if they are pink or white - so we cut a couple twigs and brought them inside where it is warmer. They should grow quite quickly as the temperature inside is about 20 degrees higher than outside.

Both trees aren't large and one looks to be very young, so I am not expecting fruit, but I am hoping there will be some flowers. I have to read up on all kinds of gardening stuff now, asu have no idea what to do for most of this stuff. I can cut grass and trim trees, but when it comes to fruiting plants, I've got nothing.

As a kid, there were fruit trees in the garden, but we kind of just let them grow wild. I remember collecting and eating a huge amount of almonds, but the fruit was hard to get, as you had to beat the birds and possums.
