but it adds to the general background of what "serious people" think about investing.
I think this is the issue I have with it as it influences the narrative of the average with what to me at least seems, a disingenuous perspective, whilst sounding legit enough.
Yeah, investment "advice" is total nonsense. In the US, the SEC requires a statement on all investment pitches that past performance are not an indicator of future results. And that's true.
But then all investment advice is to do what has worked out OK in the past.
