Kicked in the bag

Before boarding the flight today I talked to my daughter and told her I have a gift for her. Nothing big, but she always gets excited when I bring her some token thing back and, since she knew she won't see me til the morning, she planned to wake me up.

My luggage didn't make it onto the plane.

So, she is going to have to learn a little more about life disappointment and patience. She is pretty good at it by now.

Even though it is 1am, my wife said she was going to wait up for me - probably so she didn't have to wait til morning for her present.

The jokes on her.

I had to fill out a form for the lost baggage and drop it into a drum hoping someone will check it as there is no one at the airport at this time of night. I am just glad I was able to get a taxi from the rank without having to call and wait.

Well, these things happen and hopefully I get it delivered tomorrow so I can give my family their gifts. I am glad I didn't leave my camera in the bag and of course I have my work laptop which is necessary as I have to do a download of my head to it for work.

I think this week has been the least I have posted on Steem in forever, but I am looking forward to catching up on the comings and goings and digging some posts into Blockchain soon.

When's the hardfork being attempted?
