A set of sun

in #photography5 years ago

Well, one benefit of having a hotel room on the 8th floor on the middle of the sticks is that there is a chance for a bit of a view, and tonight the sunset shaped up to be a good one, so I kept an eye on it as I worked.

There is a power plant next to the hotel so I am guess that my phone should charge faster than normal here.

It was also nice to watch the ripples across the body of water on the way through, perhaps from a large passing boat from Helsinki or the tide, I am not sure. The sea is flat now though.

This is one of the pictures in the to and it made me laugh. You know those accounts that call people "dear" thinking it is going to make people like them more? It doesn't. It is weird.

I don't like editing on my phone so these are pretty much as shot except for a crop or straighten and for the power plant one which I tweaked the perspective to straighten the chimney.

There is a little more prep and review to do before I got the hay but I am glad that I had an hour to enjoy the sunset, camera in hand.

Oh, it is almost midnight in Finland and the sun went down about an hour ago and there is still a lot of light in the sky. I like the summer evenings here.

Thought you had gone to bed already and just saw your latest post. You actually have a great view of it from the 8 th floor and don't blame you for enjoying it. The photos look great and I wouldn't spot the tweaking anyway. Have fun tomorrow.

I should have gone to bed, it was a long day :D

Great view! (Besides the power plant but faster charge is always good!) I like the light in the last shot, it looks perfectly planned and reminds me of a well done advertisement.

it has a nice warm feel to it I like also. Normally, I go with hard and cold :D

Hard and cold is also a really nice option, in many things :D

Lovely postcards of the sunset expressing its beautiful personality. Thanks @tarazkp

Glad you enjoyed, Troy.

They don't look half bad for mob shots

but only half good since I took them with my main camera :D

They are shot through glass so to get angles without internal lights limited it a lot, and the glass was filthy.

Love the third and fourth pics for the colours. And that deer is at least cute 😆

There are some nice sunsets here and in the summer, they last a fair while as the sun moves more sideways-ish than downward.

Hello @tarazkp a very beautiful sight, when I see landscapes like those I try to enjoy them all that last...

the line of the sunset is still there to view and it is almost 1 am. The sun will be coming up again in a couple hours.

Wow, that must be amazing to see. Thanks for explaining.

When my family lived overseas (near the equator), the sun set each day about the same time of day (within about 30 minutes). Now that we are in the State my kiddos question why they have to go to bed when the sun is still out. The joys of summer time.

Lovely photos. Enjoy the view.

My daughter has the same issues. I explained to her how the day and night comes and goes but when it is light pretty much 24 hours at the moment, I seem crazy :D

The penultimate picture seems to be my favorite. Sort of inverted sea with waves in the sky.
