A glass of whine
What I have learned from this trip so far is, I should start drinking more wine again. It is pretty delicious stuff.
I am a few minutes away from boarding in Stuttgart on the way to Helsinki for a short bounce before going home. While it has been too warm in Germany for the pants, collared shirt and carrying bags as I have done the last 5 days, it is cold and raining in Finland and I might miss the sunshine.
I am looking forward to getting home to the wife and daughter however, I am really happy that I was able to find what @smallsteps wanted as a gift, stickers. She gets 1 for pees in the potty, 2 for a number two. After a shaky start, it is going well enough that we need a lot more stickers. It took me an hour to find them and I didn't have a chance to get anything for me. I found some stuff for my wife though.
It feels like I have been away from normal life for weeks as this trip has been chock-a-block with work with very little respite. The few walks I got to take were far too hurried for me liking and, I was far too tired to concentrate on taking photos so, I carried my camera for a handful of images.
Well, it definitely wasn't a holiday - no matter what my wife thinks.
Ok. Gotta board.

(didn't even get to finish my chianti)
This must be a "Thank you, Don't mind if I do" lol.
It wasn't too bad. One nice thing about Germany, Italy and Spain is that wine is cheap and it is hard to find a bad one.
So my take away is that the WHINE is to snivel or complain in a peevish, self-pitying way? ...and the Chianti wine is pretty delicious stuff you should start drinking again? ...Interesting thoughts while traveling.
Thanks for sharing... STEEM ON!
Yeah, I am not whining so much, lither than not having time to finish my Chianti before heading to the gate and then... Flight delayed.
I would never suggest you were whining... I was thinking that the Chianti wine negates the whine that you could make because it is too delicious.
I always enjoy the good stuff you write. It's clever... Very clever!
I just like to play on the words. My daughter is going to learn a lot of dad jokes :D
The mind goes to beer when I hear about Germany and drinking...a bit of a surprise its got craving for wine
I don't drink beer - it is why they asked me to leave Australia ;D
Kicked out of beerly Aussieland to be exposed to cold Funland... to drink wine!! Hahahaha
I had to tech the Finns how to drink wine - rather than cheap vodka :D
CRYSTAL HEAD VODKA, the brand that comes in the skull of a man ~ that's the best vodka between the earthly polar caps... Light up one of @offgridlife wilderness brand cannabis cigars... puff puff pass ...It's a Rocky mountain high party in the sky that just doesn't stop! ...In America! ...Not dissing Aussie beer. I'm just saying. puff puff pass ...In America! hehehehe
Wouldn't mind trying it. Tonight I had Napue served with lingonberries and rosmary. A local one from near by where I live.
In Funland, there is no cannabis fun. :/
That's why I engage... You learn from them that know!
When it comes to the fineries of life and how to enjoy them I can find you blogging the appetites of a renaissance man. Be forever true to the zest for life... Steemians like me are reading how to from you blogging that you do and enjoy it!
Don't follow too closely, you will end up lost :D
It is nice to interact here I think as while there is a lot to desire in many ways, the people can be great. I wish I was able to go to SF4 this year to meet more of them.
Much I knew that there had to be a logical reason in all this. LoL
