Boxing Day Sledding Action
After a ham breakfast and before a ham lunch, we went out to enjoy the fresh snowfalls. Our daughter has only been pulled in the sled once before and prefers not to hold on but despite her expression, she does actually enjoy it and wants to go again and again. As long as she doesn't have to do the walking up the hill that is.
In Finland (and probably the Nordics at least), the 'Pulka' is a popular way to get small children around the place in the winter and in the mornings and afternoons, you can see them being pulled to and from daycares. This particular one is more of a transporter than a toboggan but for a baby, it is fine and fast enough.
My wife was a bit worried about her going down the hills by herself and surprise surprise, the only time she fell out was when my wife was pulling her. Eating a little snow is not the end of the world though and our daughter laughed it off.
I think this could become a Boxing Day tradition for our family, climate change permitting of course.

She’s cute. Must take after her Australian uncle. :) Ok. So maybe not, but she is certainly cute!
Must be the case :D
your daughter is so cute :)
She is indeed :)
Cute little baby, I hope she enjoyed every moment of it... :))
She seemed to and didn't want to come in for lunch.
Kids give more importance to playing and having fun than eating...
Cute pics. Start them early on all adventures.
your daughter is so sweet:)

She is a demon.
haha .. my question is also same ,,,why she is so serious? ...but she is cute..
What a lovely daughter you have, and brave also. I'm sorry to say, we have no snow in the Netherlands this Christmas.
It has been surprisingly 'rare' here also in the last few years.
