نظرتها كالسحر تأخذك إلى عوالم أخرى وتعيدك في لحظة .. شعرت بأن قلبي يكاد يقفز من صدري ويذهب إليها بلا رجعة .. يا ليتني ما تركتها ، يا ليتني زينت أصبعها بخاتم كتب عليه اسمي وقلبها بنبض قلبي .. يا ليتني ما خذلتها ولا كسرتها يا ليتني ويا ليتني !

ماذا أفعل وماذا أقول .. أي مبرر سوف يغفر لي تسع سنوات من الهجران ! أي سبب سوف يكون منطقيا لما فعلته منذ عقد من الزمن .

مرت الثواني كأنها سنوات وأنا أغرق في بحر عينيها العميقتين ، شعرت كأن الله أحياني بعدما كنت جسدا بلا روح ، كأن قلبي عاد يخفق من جديد ، وعقلي استيقظ من غيبوبة طويلة .. أدركت أخيرا أن بعض المشاعر أقوى من أن يمحوها الزمن ، أن الألم الذي تلحقه بغيرك يلحق بك مضاعفا ، لم يكن من السهل تجاوز حبها أبدا ، للحظة شعرت بأن روحي لمست السماء من فرط السعادة ، تقدمت خطوة نحوها ثم أخرى والخطوة الثالثة أغمضت عينيها ونزلت دمعة أشعلت النيران في قلبي ، ثم رفعت يدها لتمسحها فرأيت خاتما يزين أصبعها فتراجعت خطوة للوراء .. ثم ظهر رجل خلفها يحمل باقة ورد وهو ينادي حبيبة قلبي .. التفت إليه وأخذت الباقة ثم أمسكت بيده وضغطت عليها بقوة وابتسمت في وجه ثم أخذها وأخذ روحي معها .. خطوت خطوة إلى الوراء بلا إرادة ولا انتباه ، وما كدت ألتفت حتى كانت السيارة المتجهة نحوي قد طرحتني أرضا .. صارت الرؤية ضبابية والكثير من الناس يلتفون حولي .. ثم رأيتها تطل علي بوجهها الملائكي تبكي وتصرخ بإسمي .. وعدتني أيضا أنها لن تتركني أبدا .. أعلن شبح ابتسامتي ولادته ، نظرت إليها وهمست بصعوبة " لو كنت أعلم أن موتي سوف يحيى حبك ، كنت مت منذ عقد من الزمن .."
