Hello steemian!!! wherever steemian resides and hopefully in protect by God Almighty, back again with me @tanzilalmubarak on this occasion I will tell my travel in West Sumatra. exactly, I had the opportunity to visit a mosque in the province of West Sumatra mosque, let both of us browse and browse what is West mosque. West Sumatra Mosque is the largest mosque in West Sumatra, is located facing the street Khatib Sulaiman, district North of Padang, Padang city. The mosque still under construction since laying the first stone on December 21, 2007. Development is done in stages due to the limited budget of the province.
Hello steemian !!! dimana pun steemian berada dan semoga di lindungi oleh tuhan yang maha esa,kembali lagi bersama saya @tanzilalmubarak pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan menceritakan perjalanan saya yang di sumatera barat. tepat nya saya berkesempatan mengunjungi suatu masjid yang di jadikan sebagai ikon provinsi yaitu masjid raya sumatera barat, mari sama-sama kita jelajahi dan telusuri apa itu masjid raya sumbar. Masjid Raya Sumatera Barat adalah masjid terbesar di Sumatera Barat, terletak menghadap Jalan Khatib Sulaiman, Kecamatan Padang Utara, Kota Padang. Masjid ini masih dalam tahap konstruksi sejak peletakan batu pertama pada 21 Desember 2007. Pembangunan dikerjakan secara bertahap karena keterbatasan anggaran dari provinsi.

Bentuk sudut lancip sekaligus mewakili atap bergonjong pada rumah adat Minangkabau rumah gadang.

Peletakan batu pertama sebagai tanda dimulainya pembangunan dilakukan pada 21 Desember 2007 oleh Gubernur Sumatera Barat Gamawan Fauzi.

Konstruksi bangunan dirancang menyikapi kondisi geografis Sumatera Barat yang beberapa kali diguncang gempa berkekuatan besar. Menurut rancangan, kompleks bangunan akan dilengkapi pelataran, taman, menara, ruang serbaguna, fasilitas komersial, dan bangunan pendukung untuk kegiatan pendidikan.

Ruang utama yang dipergunakan sebagai tempat salat di lantai dua adalah ruang lepas. Lantai dua dengan elevasi tujuh meter dapat diakses langsung melalui ramp, teras terbuka yang melandai ke jalan. Dengan luas 4.430 meter persegi, lantai dua diperkirakan dapat menampung 5.000-6.000 jemaah. Lantai dua ditopang oleh 631 tiang pancang dengan pondasi poer berdiameter 1,7 meter pada kedalaman 7,7 meter. Dengan kondisi topografi yang masih dalam keadaan rawa, kedalaman setiap pondasi tidak dipatok karena menyesuaikan titik jenuh tanah tanah. Adapun lantai tiga berupa berupa mezanin berbentuk leter U memiliki luas 1.832 meter persegi.

Setiap kolom miring ditancapkan ke dalam tanah dengan kedalaman 21 meter, memiliki pondasi tiang bor sebanyak 24 titik dengan diameter 80 centimeter. Pekerjaan kolom miring melewati 13 tahap pengecoran selama 108 hari dengan memperhatikan titik koordinat yang tepat.
Mosque of West Sumatra has a management official with the promulgation of the DECREE of the Governor about the appointment of administrators. Executive Board consists of provincial government officials chaired by Secretary Ali Asmar.
Masjid Raya Sumatera Barat memiliki kepengurusan resmi dengan dikeluarkannya SK Gubernur tentang pengangkatan pengurus. Pengurus terdiri dari pejabat pemerintah provinsi diketuai oleh Sekretaris Daerah Ali Asmar.
