Make app minimizable during pause video - ScreenToGif

ScreenToGif is a gif creator software which allow it's user to create gif from video recording. It's totally lightweight. User can also give live feed and make live drawing using ScreenToGif.
I am proposing a feature/enhancement that can make this software more awesome. Enhancement of making this app minimizable which is currently working only before start and after stop recording.

Proposal

Problem -> Suppose a user starts his recording. After some time user want to pause recording for a while. Currently user can do so by clicking pause icon. But it is not possible for him to minimize the full application after pause video. As a result user can't work on full screen. Also it can make user distracted while working.
Minimizable during pause video -> Making this app minimizable during pause video can be a better solution for this problem. If this enhancement can be added then user can easily minimize while not working. Then again if user want to record gif, a single click on ScreenToGif icon in Taskbar make it appear on screen.

Mockup

An icon to expand "ScreenToGif" (Which is current behavior before start and after stop recroding) can be added as enhanced behavior during pause video.

Benefits

1. Making minimizable during pause video will allow user to be distraction free. It will also be user friendly.
2. Allow user to work on/ view full screen.
