Remove failure as an option

“I never even considered losing an option.”

I routinely hear this statement when talking with or listening to interviews with successful people.

or:

“I didn’t know it wasn’t possible, I just thought it was, so I found a way to do it.”

Maybe these ideas are simple-minded, naïve, or… brilliant. There are a lot of people who will tell you that your idea sucks, how it can’t/won’t/shouldn’t/hasn’t before/ work, and why your failure is imminent. This might be because seeing you succeed reminds them that they’re not. These are the people to avoid.

What if instead we were to nourish people’s ideas, introduce like-minded people with complementary ideas to collaborate, encourage people to never consider losing an option, or not listen to the haters and naysayers? What if we took the concept of failure off the table? What might be possible then?

Remove failure as an option!
