Navigating the decoration of the night sky

The moon - the celestial body closest to us - has attracted the attention of people for a long time. The main decoration of the night sky, she has always inspired poets and artists. It was not by chance that our ancestors idolized the Moon - after all, it helped them navigate in time and space, warned about tides and changes in weather.

The Moon and the Sun watched the world for many years and millennia, gave people their magic and joy, and finally decided to rest a little, as nature rests in winter hibernation. But people, having lost their heroines, got scared, began to panic and beg them to return.

The moon and the sun did not expect such excitement, did not imagine that they are so needed by humanity and, having pity on him, returned him light and happiness. Since then, they have never left the earth in darkness. And our world shines to this day.

We modern people, pragmatic and eternally busy, do not show due respect to the night star. We have forgotten how to be surprised; the appearance of a disk, a crescent or a sickle seems to us familiar and everyday.
