On a safari to Kruger National Park, South Africa, we spotted two cheetahs hunting impalas, I decided to do a painting of the two but when finished I was not satisfied with the outcome so I decided to experiment with one point perspective drawing by doing the mosaic tiles receding and getting smaller into the distance. So I changed the painting to a Renaissance image of cheetahs running through a Roman villa. I really think that this painting is now very contemporary and I just love the end result.
