Hello beautiful ladies and friends, how is it going from your end?. It's my pleasure participating in this contest (Choices) for the second time. In this contest we have a couple of items to discuss, in my entry I had picked house and I am going to talk about the house.

If you missed missed the contest announcememt post, you can have it here.

The Historical Evolution Of House:

Over the decades and centuries there had been a continuous evolution of house from caves during the stone age down to the 21st century pattern of beautiful houses today. Over the decades, due to inventions and education, man has transited from living in caves, to living in animal skin tents, to living in mud houses, then living in cemented beautiful houses.

It had been a beautiful evolution so far, the civilization and industrialization has helped man to better their lives especially in the aspect of shelter (house).

Cave Era Houses:

History had it that the early humans lived in caves built in rocks and mountains. During this era (stone age), humans lived in caves as houses.

Caves are like holes hued on rocks and mountains. Some are natural caves while some were hued by the inhabitants. So in that era, the natural houses were caves. People lived inside mountains and rocks called caves.

I believe that those caves would had been characterize with lots of disadvantages, though I wasn't there. It could be these disadvantages that had led to sourcing for further advancement of houses.

Animal Skin Tents:

After the cave house era, humans migrated to living in tents made of animal skins. Meanwhile, in those era humans wore animal skin as clothes. So it was easy for them to use same animal skin to build tents where they lived in.

Though there was no specific dates or year when humans started living in all these house types, because there was no proper documentation of the information, but history had it that humans lived in them.

Mud House:

After the era of animal skin houses, humans explored another method of building house which was using mud and water. This type of house was more comfortable and shielding than the above 2 mentioned type of houses.

Especially in Africa, this kind of house was predominant. Currently, some parts of Africa still live in this type of house. Interestingly, the mud house doesn't cost much to set up. And it is very easy to maintain. It can even be built by women. Atleast I met this type of house in my home town.

While growing up as a kid in the early 90s, I met my family living in mud a house and we lived there till the year 2000. I had also seen my grandma in those days built a small mud house for her chickens by herself.

From experience, one characteristics of the mud house is that it is very easy to build. While it's usual disadvantage is that it can easily get old and start spoiling both the roof and the body, as a result needs frequent repairs.

The Modern Houses:

After the era of mud houses, there was a serious transition in the way humans build their houses. People discovered several ways of building houses and it turned out amazing.

Some countries like Nigeria builds with cement, sand and stones and irons. Some other countries build with stones and marbles, other countries of the world have their own pattern of building their houses. Some build with wood, others with stones and marbles, some with bricks, some tiles, some iron etc.

Now industrialization and civilization has opened the eyes of humans to various ways to build houses and they all come out amazingly beautiful and at the same time comfortable to live in.

Conclusion

Houses over the decades has passed through series of evolution and with the help of the rising rate of inventions and innovations, more beautiful and amazing structures are coming up on daily basis.

I invited @ruthgold, @thomisin and @ninapenda to come participate in this contest.

Thank you for the rating, yes everything we enjoy today has a history where it's coming from. Most times we need to sit down and go back to the past and find out how they all evolved.

Thank you for the correction, I had also fixed the sentences giving issues, my post is 100% AI free now as I checked.

The house is where one feels safe and happy. Therefore, if it provides safety and shelter, regardless of whether it is a cave, mud, or modern structure, it is a house. But as the world developed, everything has grown more complicated
