Revelations

Long ago someone wrote down a story about visions that he had seen, and eventually it went into a book as a chapter entitled Revelations. I used to read it over and over again as a child. I remember my unpolluted child heart. It was sacred, open, joyful... so real. My open heart was taught to love God and fear God. As a child I wanted nothing more than to serve the Christ upon his return.

Years and years later I still, in the heart of hearts, desire only that. Now the desire is not motivated by fear (which turns to reverence), it is a desire to dwell in love and experience the miracle of what God is. There is no other Way desired.

Love expanded: to the Christ in all – the Sacred Heart of every one. We are rising to that, turning inward to it – many of us. It’s not religion. If the word Christ is bothersome because of religion, we can change it to unity consciousness or another of many options – and it will mean the same.

If you prefer to look at the book of Revelations for a message you can understand, to inquire about what’s happening and what’s coming, good for you: may your messages serve the wellbeing of all. For me, I don’t think about those warnings and images and I don’t go back and read it again. They invoke fear and we don’t need to dwell in that: the story is right here and right now.

People of the world are suffering greatly: those not suffering lack are suffering fear of lack. The words “It’s not fair” come up in my mind. We know it’s not fair… it’s horribly lopsided. We desire a world of balance, and that is where our efforts go.

Here’s what we can do as we live through the revelations: live in a sacred manner as best you can. That is faith and it is our true nature. We have been taken far from our nature but we can turn back, and as we do, others realize that they can too. We have no other choice and we want no other choice but to return.

Don’t be afraid of revelations, wondering what the end will be like; it’s a revealing of what has controlled us as we turn and return. It’s okay – it needs to be revealed. Keep your eyes on the new and build that. We are free to evolve.
