STEREOTYPES about RUSSIANS

Bears on the streets and vodka are just the tip of the iceberg!

I worked with foreigners in a marriage agency a few years ago. This experience was very interesting and I will talk about it later. There will be many discoveries for those who are looking for a Russian wife !!

In dealing with them, I found out a lot of interesting things about what they think about Russians.

 - Russian women adore and know how to dance

  It's not known where it came from, but they are convinced that our young ladies love to dance. Most of all - Russian folk or ballet. Strange alternative, but nevertheless)

- Russia is a country of hackers

Apparently, this is due to pirated content in the network. Americans, when they came here, were very afraid to enter pin-codes in ATMs or passwords on websites, thinking that they were constantly being monitored. 

 - Russian women work only before the birth of a child

Many in the west and east decided that our women do not go out of the decree ever) They were very surprised to learn that after 2-3 years the majority of "go to work". 

 - in Russia it is ALWAYS cold

The fact that we have an infernal heat they generally do not know) Stool, snow, cold, fur hat, bears - it is ineradicable. Arriving in warm Crimea, they were pleasantly surprised.

- being a driver in Russia is very dangerous

Our traffic on the roads and the number of traffic lights hit foreigners. I do not know, probably, they somehow differ, because they believe that being a driver is very risky for us.

- crime and racket everywhere

 Russian films sowed in our friends "over the hill" the view that Russia is a country of banditry and lawlessness. They have the belief that the criminal will be punished even less than many of ours.

 - Russian men are kissing

 greetings from Brezhnev is the reason) That is why the leaders of countries must behave decently and ethically)

 - Russians live very poorly

 They are frightened by our salaries (they frighten us too)). They are sincerely amazed at how we live. Many in general thought that civilization did not reached us, for example, a frequent stereotype that there is  no water, no gas in the houses. It is not so!)

 - all Russians have bad teeth

A trip to the dentist in the West is a common thing. In Russia, many people still have panic about it. Earlier it was very painful, the Soviet equipment was terribly terrible, and many remember it) but now it's ok, and many people think it is an usual thing like to go to the shop)
