NATURE PRESENTS: HARVEST TIME
Tasty days have come!
Harvest time is the best time of gardening, and we can enjoy what nature has prepared for us.
My Daddy is the main gardener in our family, we are his modest "servants":) but we share harvest honestly:)) he adores our little son and he is happy when he tastes his fruits.
Yesterday it was time of berries - black current and apricots.
It's long and boring to gather berries, they are small, but the goal is worth it! And I adore doing it together, it's so uniting task:)
I wanna make great winter stocks in my frozen camera. It's so great to taste fresh eco berries in winter, right?
This year we have really amazing harvest of wild apricots.
They are smaller than usual ones, taste differs, but I like them.
The tree is just huge!!
There are millions of fruits there, and we cant gather them all even, they fall down all the time.
We gather them partially because it's impossible to take them all at home at once.
Nyam-nyam:)
At home we have the second chapter of our fairytale - preparation for freezing, drying and eating:))
Again it's long but we can do it together and it can be a variant of a family game - who is faster:)
My son likes it:) and btw it's a perfect training for his fingers and hand skills. They are very important for brain and speech development.
No expensive toys - nature has something better!
Sometimes it's very hard to work in the garden, especially when it's rather far from home - it's about 40 min on foot:( Often we were advised to sell our garden.
But we see and taste these nature presents, we understand that they are priceless.

Looking good. Bon appetit.
Have seen the same in France also. Too much fruit, falling and not picked up, finally rotting away. A bit of a waste, but they just do not have enough "hands" to collect it all.
some people come there to pick them from the ground and sell - 1,5$ per 1 kg, in the market apricots cost twice more.
"Again its long but..." = Long story short, .....
or: To be brief, its a sort of family game - who will become champion to finish first
"They are very important for..." = This kind of activity benefits to brain and speech development [ it is believed, that... ]
'No expensive toys' = There is no need for expensive toys...
40 min on foot.
