Learn Carbon: The Organic World (include inorganic carbon-containing substances)

Look around! You can see different things. The plants that we care for in the garden. The animals that move around to look for foods. The foods that we, humans, cook. The charcoals that we use to make fire. The fabrics that we wear. The steel that we use for different metallic reasons. ALL OF THEM ARE MADE OF CARBON!

Carbon is everywhere. If you will remove all carbon-containing things on the surface of the Earth, maybe a little fraction is left. Actually there's a chemical study for it called organic chemistry. All carbon-containing materials are studied in this branch but there are others excluded.

THE WORLD OF CARBON!

A carbon atom has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons. It needs 4 more electrons. Due to its will of electrons, it is not found pure and free in nature.

Carbon exist in all places on the surface of the Earth. It is found in the air as carbon dioxide. Also it can be an acid or a a base. If you will go to the kitchen, you will see different foods. All biological molecules have carbon atoms specifically: the sugar, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acid. All the cells use carbon in different ways. It is an important material too in your deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) which is known as a genetic material.

Carbon is a good material in strength that is why it is mixed with iron to make steel. It is rich in the plants and animals.

The abundance of carbon on Earth is not so big in number. Besides, in other planets it is abundant.
