Winter Photography in Fukushima, Japan.

Winter on a mountain in Japan.

I used to live on a mountain in Fukushima at a British English resort camp, as a working holiday style job.

Every now and again I would go out an capture the snow of the surrounding areas.

It was quite beautiful at night with all the lighting and snow

The shot above I took on a snow day using a flash to bring out the flakes, I think it snowed over 20cm over 4 or 5 hours.

The 3 shots above are from heavy snow fall and the ones at night I used spot lights and a flash to bring out the falling snow. The high ISO I used created a lot of grain so I opted to use black and white.

The moon was very bright but the stars still showed, so I opted for this wide shot of a golf course

This last shot was through some woods where I got stuck in some deep snow so I stopped to take a picture before digging my way out.

I was still learning photography when these were taken so I hope people enjoy them. Until next time.
