My Proposal Logo For TreeTracker Android

Hello, all friends

I want to contribute to TreeTracker application with logo. I am very happy with the hard work of completing this logo. Hopefully a proposal is acceptable and you like what I have done.

The idea of making this logo from some of my photogtaphy.
Most of my photography is a leaf that does not look like a tree trunk, so it looks pretty, actually in this logo too, although the process of making this logo is not easy for me.
Repeatedly design, even up to four working days for good results in my opinion :)
That's what inspired this treetrecker logo design.
The process of creating a logo with Adobe Illustrator, the design is completely editable and measurable.
Later I will finally explain gradually how I can arrive at the shape of the logo.

Benefit / Repair
Although the original logo is well known, I consider it an essential update of an app.
The concept I present here, the tree symbol and the directions so I think make this logo simple. hope with this new logo will get more attention from users to get the app.

Tool
I am using adeobe illustrator software.
This program is one that works with vector, can be edited and measured without loss of image quality. Now I will explain it gradually until the logo form, if my submission is wrong please aligned as it will help my design progress in the future, thanks.

Logo Creation

Starting with a rectangular base, until it becomes a shape like this, I lock all the lines.

I started by using the ellipse tool, I made two same circles, one circle for tree size and another for directions.
I draw a circle using the tool directly, so it is bell-shaped, the result is like this, mate.

I made a small size, rotated the tool, copied it into a big circle, this was the result.

Now the logo process is almost done and I will do a border cut using the pathfinder tool

The last process is very simple to perfect the tree, I use the pen tool and cut it with a great tool that is pathfinder
