Tips for making Money on Steemit
Are you tired of creating good content and then get a low payout?
You spend hours doing research on a popular niche, a week later your pending payout is still $0.05
"Really! is that all I can get after everything I have done."
You get pissed and don't even think about posting another article.
"Arghhh! What's the point of creating another content, I am not getting anything out of this besides wasting my time. This is too hard for me"
Some of your followers are Dead followers, they gave up already.
That's how I felt the first few weeks I joined Steemit.
"What about those guys who are getting $100.05 within an hour after publishing their posts. How do they do it."
Some of them were also struggling like you at some stage until they did some research or saw some tips to make their blogs become successful.
To be honest with you I haven't been that successful in the past 30 days after joining Steemit but I wanna share some useful tips to improve your performance.
Here's a summary of guidelines
- Your content should be valuable in the eyes of your followers - Always think about the people who will read your blogs.
- Reputation
At the writing of this my reputation is 46 and it didn't increment by doing nothing.
It's those hours of hard work, patients, persistent and learning some successful tips.
Make your article stand out - A good thumbnail and a good heading that will make curators take actions when they see your blog.
Promote Promote Promote - It's easy for your articles to be pushed down by new posts from the eyes of your followers. There's many platforms outside Steemit that you can use for promotion and get more followers.
JOIN and post on channels such as Steem.chat or Discord
Commenting
- The first comment will have the best chance to get more upvotes depending how valuable it is.
"Thank you for sharing"
- Make money by striking as early as possible on a popular post.
- I've seen great thoughtful comments that have earned more money than the post.
Vote
"Time To vote"

- The early you vote, the more you get rewarded, but wait at least 30 minutes.
"Why 30 minutes"
- Voting too early may get you almost nothing and 100% of the curation rewards will go to the author.
- Voting after 15 minutes will get you a share of 50% of the curation rewards
- Vote 30 minutes or after, you will get 100% curation rewards.
- Keep in mind that your voting power may decline and you will have to wait 36 minutes for your strength to be maximized.
- You can check you voting Power on steemd.com/@username
This is something I have never understand. That voting power going up and down depending on when you did vote... it doesn't make any sense to me. Am I the only one or am I just too stupid ? lol
I want someone to write out how this works in more detail, it doesn't make sense at all.
lol no you not stupid hahahaha Your Power decreases with each vote. How much it takes to decrease and how long it will take to go up again will depend on the number of votes given at a period of time.
Here is an article to help you understand

thank you :) I'll read it carefully, and I am sure a loooooot of people will too ;)
And so... I will vote for you in 30 min okay :D ? even if it doesnt make any sense at all ^^
hahaha they call it a "Reverse Auction System"
Now I see the effect !! 33 minutes later, I vote and you get 0,01$ when all the time my vote count for shit this time it worth something ^^
hahaha I used to jump on posts and vote they minute they released lol.
