Daerah paling ujung pulau sumatera ini memiliki keunikan tersendiri, salah satunya bidang kesenian, salah satu kesenian aceh yang sering dilihat adalah sekelompok anak anak yang sedang latihan DIKEE.

Dalam pelaksanaan "dikee" ini, dilakukan dengan berkelompok yang terdiri 5 barisan setiap barisan berjumlah 5 orang, peserta kelompok dikee adalah anak anak yang berusia 6-12 tahun, tergantung tubuh, dan juga didampingi oleh 2 orang pembaca lagu yang disebut "syech/radad", kelompok DIKEE tersebut menggoyang tubuhnya sesuai dengan lagu yang dilantunkan oleh Radad.

Kelompok Dikee akan tampil tak kala musim bulan maulid nabi, biasanya pada bulan rabiul awal dan rabiul akhir, mereka akan bershalawat secara bersama sama pada waktu tampil, bagi masyarakat aceh fenomena ini sudah menjadi suatu kebiasaan bila telah datang waktunya bulan maulid.

Pada saat datang bulan rabiul awal dan rabiul akhir setiap desa di seluruh daerah aceh memperingati hari lahirnya nabi dengan diisi zikir, kenduri, dan dikee. Demikian sahabat semoga bermanfaat.
