According to Reuters, a year after Serena Williams' "battle" with referee Carlos Ramos in the 2018 US Open final, the tournament organizers have revealed the changes in the law. The US Open executive board said that they would immediately list offensive behaviors as soon as they happened. Specifically, when a violation is brought by the referee, it will appear right on the scoreboard in the stadium.
