Parmesan Chicken With Orange Mashed Potatoes! (Recipes)
Today I made chicken using a recipe a friend told me, it is not the usual way I make chicken and it turned out very tasty.
To go with it I made orange mashed potatoes!
You'll see, the most important thing to me is that my children liked both the chicken and the orange mashed potatoes.
Ingredients,
5 drumsticks
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of Vegeta
pinch of pepper
garlic herbs
1 tablespoon of mild paprika
dried parsley
cooking oil
parmesan cheese
bread crumbs
Step 1
Put all the listed herbs and spices on the chicken (leave out the garlic for now) mix it all up and then add a little bit of oils.
Step 2
oil up your baking tray, first cover the chicken in breadcrumbs and then in the parmesan and place into your baking tray.
Prior to putting into the oven, sprinkle with garlic.
Step 3
Place into a preheated oven at 180 degrees celsius, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to finish (depending on the chicken pieces, thickness, fattyness etc.
ORANGE MASHED POTATOES
Ingredients
3 carrots
6 potatoes
salt
1 tablespoon of margarine or butter
milk
Step 1.
Peel your potatoes and carrots.
Chop up the carrots.
& cook in a pot, and add 2 teaspoons of salt once the water starts to warm up.
Step 2
once cooked, strain your potatoes and carrots.
Step 3
mash them up
Then add the butter and mix it all up, once mixed add a little bit of milk and mix again!
Note: basically the same as with mashed potatoes only in this mix you add some carrots.
Once finished, meal is ready to serve.
I like trying new ideas with foods, these two are good and tasty, without complicating anything.
Than you for reading.
I'm going to try this, just as soon as I figure out what Vegeta is.

I was wondering that as well. I had to wiki it:
Vegeta
Same here, no clue what vegeta is. Sounds scary though. Like some sneaky vegetable trying to find its way onto my plate!
very good
I'm going to try the chicken. Yummy!
Hi @Sylviamiller,
I'm @joshua-golbuu, or Josh for short and I just joined @TeamAustralia / #TeamAustralia a few weeks ago (I moved from the islands of Micronesia to Australia to study and live here).
I just wanted to drop a note to say hello.
Thank you for sharing your recipes and the photos. It makes it easy to follow. I like cooking and will give this a try, esp. with school holidays around the corner.
I don't have many recent posts as I just finished my last exam on Friday, but I very much like to get to know everyone in our team. Hope we will meet on Steemit.

Thanks @Sylviamiller for writing back, awesome to hear about your older son's black belt, how old is he?
I'm waiting for my VP to hit 100% and I've got like 15 upvote to make today! Will be back to vote later...I notice when I don't watch my recharge i can only give 0.04-6 but when recharged I can give at least $0.08!
Ok, gotta go get ready. Take care!
Check this out....had this for dinner yesterday, I helped make this.
Looks familiar ? ....haha :D
...was looking too delicious, I started eating the potato then only realized I have not taken a picture (there is a bite one the other side of that chicken too) :P
