Introduce My Self - Sylvia Miller

So my hubbie says that I need to do an introduction letter here on Steemit.

So here goes.

My name is Sylvia, I am a mother of 4, eldest turning 19 this year, youngest turns 5, and two more, one 12 and the other 11 this year.

Was born and raised overseas, speak English with a an accent and find it easier to type than to speak, for some reason I start stuttering a little and then forget the words I was looking for.

Have been active on Facebook, with my friends. Was over hyperactive on Twitter, which I have now closed totally because I can tweet more so here and share all sorts of ideas and links and you name it and get rewarded for it.
I am not sorry for all the years spent on other sites, just wish I knew about Steemit when it first started and not a year later. Never too late I guess.

So far here I have seen that some people are “Professional Bloggers” & some are trying to be professionals. Good for them. I see Steemit as a site where everyone is welcome, all people from all sites and sides of the world and world wide web (www).
So I don’t judge people if they behave like Tweeters, as I do, I don’t judge people if they behave like members of a society in which anarchy rules as is my description of Facebookers and I surely do not judge anyone for being who and what they are.
I have set myself a goal here on Steemit, that is to be The Best “Tweeter” like member here, posting links and articles about things that bring a smile to peoples faces. In most cases that is food and anything to do with food, but also the odd link to a funny item that may or may not revolve around food.

I have learned that I can not do some things the way they were don on Twitter, that is fine, I have also learned that some people can not help themselves as far as pretending to be important and reincarnating the NAZI’s, not so much in English grammar but in “dobbing” on others, rather than giving advice and leading by example. Little people with small minds who constantly look out their windows to see what their neighbours are doing. Every “village” has them. So to does every social site on the internet.

I do not like posting photos of me, but I will make an exemption here, I am a human being, not a phantom!

As far as TV goes, I don’t watch too much TV, when I do I like those “renovating home” shows, The Big Bang Theory and back when it was in Friends, Beverly Hills 90210 etc were shows that I really liked watching.

I like cooking and I often use recipes I find on the internet.

My kids go to TAEKWONDO and I am devoted to getting them on their feet, step by step.

I hope that this introduction acceptable and I won’t be writing much about myself, there is so much out there to write about and post about, so I will keep posting about food and all the things that I believe shall put a smile on people faces and a warm humble feeling inside.
