Hell in Paradise until I found Steemit
I sit here taunted by the now unreachable beauty of the crystal blue Caribbean Sea, the opera of sea birds and symphonic chirp of Coqui frogs. Every once in a while a cool breeze gives me a short reprieve from the horrendous Puerto Rican summer. I came here looking for paradise and find solace from the trivial monotony of my life only to end up in this jail cell.
Having the opportunity to stop and think allowed me to see that the real hellish confinement wasn't this cell, but my isolated life outside of it. The sacrifice of creativity towards the goal of buying the rest of my life back was unbearable. When conversational learning is your favorite thing, yet the idea of posting online has been jaded by trolls and small minded people, the world seems bleak without the possibility of mutual sharing.
Then Steemit fell into my lap with the perfect blend of social interaction and the possibility of getting paid off by the monetary slot machine. Thanks for creating the platform I needed to get motivated to share online again.
**I did actually take that picture while at the old fort in San Juan some years back.

Nice post!
Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 10.0 and reading ease of 64%. This puts the writing level on par with Michael Crichton and Mitt Romney.
Im not sure if this a good or bad thing? Lol!
