You can look at the moon with glasses and you see its an orb, you can buy or lend a telescope and look at the other planets seeing they are orbs. Why would just the earth be not an orb?
Hi pyro, thanks for commenting & asking questions. The moon appears to be ROUND, which doesn't mean it is a SPHERE. It doesn't rotate either, otherwise we'd be able to see the dark side of the moon. Don't try to explain this away with "tidal locking". A coin is round too, but not an orb. Also, your argument is not very astute. Just because the billard balls are orbs doesn't mean that the billard table is an orb too... Do you have a round lamp in your room? Would you conclude from that lamp's shape that the room's floor must be round also?
No i meant you can actually see it is a sphere. Look at the lights of the moon through glasses or a telescope you see the shadowing / lighting of a sphere. There are no bent shadows/lights on flat things. Take a sphere and a coin and a lamp and try it for yourself. Unless you don't believe moon is a projection, you should try verifying yourself. That's what I think, but if you WANT to believe in something, who should stop you. And i didn't say the earth MUST be a sphere when everything else is, i just said that the probability is so high because of the circumstances. And i also didn't compare earth to the galaxy like billard balls to the table, i just said if all the other billard numbers on the table are balls then probability is high that the 8 is a ball too
Nobody knows what the moon is, but the priests of the church of scientism act like they do know. And we just regurgitate whatever they tell us. Well me, not any more. Why can you see THROUGH the moon sometimes? Why don't lunar eclipes (and solar either) make any sense in the heliocentric model? Why can I witness the full moon and the sun simultaneously in the sky (only possible on a stationary plane)? One thing that's for sure is, the moon is not terra firma. It's not a rock in space where you can physically land on. The moon is a mysterious thing! I'd urge you to break out of your belief system, and start finding out facts. Ask questions. Demand answers. Gain knowledge. Peace on the stationary plane – death to the globe.
What you actually see appears to be spherical. There is a difference between 'appears to be' and 'is'. It appears the same on my laptop screen as it does in the sky. My laptop screen is flat.
