These flowers welcome me with their warm faces every day. I have placed them outside my yard on a very sentimental spot and they act as a reminder of a loving and furry family member. A couple of years ago our cat Dasiy was ridden over by a car and did not survive the accident. Our whole family was distraught at losing our sweet cat who was very dear to us. Daisy was not just a pet, she was a member of our family.

When she passed away, my husband buried her in the yard. I planted these “Daisies” on her grave to show her love and respect, but also to see them and think of her every day…which we do! 

Daisy was only five years old when she passed. She was small and petite and was covered in brown and grey splotches. Her favourite thing to do was sneak up on my cups of tea and help herself to a drink. When she was annoyed with something, she would flick her tail dramatically, as if voicing her opinion. She loved cuddles, going for walks around the yard with us and chasing our other cat, Angel.
